Glotron Marketing: Latest Scam Subsidiary of Welley Corporation

19 Jun 2006

It looks like Welley Corporation (M) Sdn Bhd had put to rest its infamous subsidiary Wijaya Marketing Sdn Bhd. However, they’re still very much in the scamming business but under a new name; Glotron Marketing Sdn Bhd. Details are as follows:

Glotron Marketing Sdn. Bhd. (688425-X)
ROOM B, 456-A,
Jalan Permatang Rawa,
BANDAR PERDA
14000 Bukit Mertajam
Business Type: Single Level Marketing (AJL931580)

Notice something very familiar other than their modus operandi? Yes, the exact same company registration address as Welley Corporation (M) Sdn BhdWijaya Marketing Sdn Bhd and Sinuri Marketing Sdn Bhd.

I’m seriously considering starting up a class action lawsuit against Welley Corporation (M) Sdn Bhd. I’m going to discuss this issue with my legal counsel and update readers of Wijaya Watch accordingly.

If you have been victimised by Welley Corporation (M) Sdn Bhd, and its scamming subsidiaries, and would like to take legal action against the scammers, please contact me at wijayawatch@gmail.com.

Won Tribunal Case Against Wijaya Marketing

13 Jun 2006

As predicted, it turns out that Wijaya Marketing Sdn Bhd and Welley Corporation (M) Sdn Bhd are not only scammers, but gutless cowards as well.

They didn’t have any of their uneducated criminal staff present to represent their scamming company during my hearing.

When dealing with people who found out about their scam, they tend to throw tantrums and abuse. Even threatening consumers with big words. However, they don’t even have the balls to attend the tribunal. That’s typical of cowardly scammers, lead by their Chief Scamming Officer, Alan Tan Chiang Hwa.

Regardless, I won my claim.

If Wijaya MarketingSinuri Marketing, or any other scamming subsidiaries of Welley Corporation (M) Sdn Bhd thinks that this is the end of my fight… You’re not only scammers but undeniably stupid as well.

This battle has ended… and I won. However, the war is just beginning to get interesting.

How Wijaya Watch Helped A Potential Welley Corporation Victim

19 May 2006

I got this email from Xord last night:

An hour ago, my dad was approach by 2 young chinese boys that asking my father to open an coupon. Surprisely, my dad just won a big prize that they comfirm that’s one of the big prizes like vios or kancil or motocycles, they even show us a piece of newspaper advert that contain their prizes, so, seriously, we conviced just like that, so we agreed to buy the stuff.

After that, one of these boys call their supervisor, and i started to feel curious when they talking in Bahasa Melayu, so i waited for their supervisor to see either he is malay or chinese. And then, when a chinese guy come, straight away i power up my laptop, and google up “sinuri marketing” and i got result linking to your site and complaint from consumer.com.my, so its clearly its just another scam.

They all gone now, after i show them your site and they trying hard to run away by giving stupid reason, so, i just want to say thank you so much for giving me so much info about them. Please, go on with your work so nobody else will be cheated.

Thank you.. sorry for my bad english..

You’re most welcome Xod. I’m very happy that Wijaya Watch has contributed in reducing the number of potential victims of scamming company Welley Corporation (M) Sdn Bhd and its scamming subsidiaries like Wijaya Marketing and Sinuri Marketing.

Wijaya Marketing Klang Feeling The Heat

19 May 2006

I’ve received an email from Wan regarding Wijaya Marketing Sdn Bhd operations in Klang. Wan’s email to me is as follows (minor spelling and grammar editing not affecting the overall information have been done):

Hi…

I too have been cheated by the wijaya company on the 8th of april 2006. Well…the story is exactly as written in the modus operandi in your website.

Basically….we bought 3 different products than what was initially offerred for the price of RM3576.93 by credit cards. The office is at:

Wijaya Marketing Sdn Bhd
1A Jalan Tapah,
Off Jalan Goh Hock Huat,
41400 Klang
Tel: 03-33426011

Agents name : Tan Seng Pu (IC: 880415-10-5065)

Well…i found out that this is a scam that same night after we bought those products!! We haven’t actually opened the boxes at all. Wish i had done some research prior to it.

Anyway… I have made a police report and complaint to the tribunal. I tried negotiating with the manager for full refund. But… they refused. They offered to refund RM2000 and we keep 2 products… mentioning that we might not even win in the tribunal hearing. I refused their offer….so, the tribunal hearing is on the 31 May 2006.

My questions are….How do i go about during the tribunal hearing? What should i mention and not mention? Should i just say that their products are of low quality and demand a refund. I was informed that the company’s licemce has expired, is it true? The manager actually told us that we were the ones who agreed to the terms and condition and no one actually forced us to buy those products? How do i respond to that remark?

I would be grateful if you could help me. Thank you.

My reply to Wan was as follows:

Hi Wan,

The scammers will never want to do a full refund. You must remember that their business plan is solely based on scamming. Doing business the proper way is not part of scamming.

Personally, my tribunal hearing is going to be on 12 June. So I have no personal experience on the hearing process itself. However, if you’d still like to have my advice, I’d suggest that you just relate your experience “as is”. Frankly, from the discussions on consumer.com.my regarding Wijaya Marketing, it seems that they never have a representative present during hearings. Remember that you are not the one who is doing an illegal activity. They are. So do not be afraid.

In fact, they already lost the case when they took your money. That is against Part V: Cooling Off Period Rescission of the Malaysian Direct Sales Act 1993 (downloadable here [PDF Document]). Don’t worry, Wijaya Marketing has a consistent track record in conducting scratch and win scams. Therefore, they’re the ones who will be having a hard time defending themselves.

I seek your permission to republish your email on Wijaya Watch. It will be useful for members of the public to know this information. Please tell me if you agree with this request.

Don’t forget to tell your friends and family about Wijaya Watch :)

But that’s not all, ladies and gentlemen. I got the following email from Wan not long after my reply:

hi…

Some update regarding my progress….they called me today…saying that they agree for full refund of RM3576 so, let’s see how it goes.

I’m planning to go to their office tomorrow with my husband and some frinds….hopefully it will be
straightforward and no more negotiations. I will let u know my progress. wish me luck.

oh yes…you can put my e-mail in wijaya watch, no problem.

bye

I’ve yet to receive an update from Wan. Hopefully she got her money back.

The moral of the story is, do not be afraid of filing complaints against Welley Corporation Sdn Bhd scamming subsidiaries like Wijaya Marketing and Sinuri Marketing. They are convicted criminals with a proven track record as scammers.

Sinuri Marketing: Another Welley Corporation Scamming Subsidiary

19 May 2006

It seems that Wijaya Marketing Sdn Bhd is becoming too infamous to conduct their scamming business that the bastards behind Welley Corporation Sdn Bhd has started yet another scamming subsidiary called Sinuri Marketing Sdn Bhd. Information about this scamming subsidiary is as follows:

Sinuri Marketing Sdn. Bhd. (625443-U, AJL 931487)
ROOM B, 456-A,
Jalan Permatang Rawa,
BANDAR PERDA
14000 Bukit Mertajam

Again, the same registration address as Welley Corporation Sdn Bhd and Wijaya Marketing Sdn Bhd. Also, thanks to Ril, I also have their Johor Bahru branch address:

Sinuri Marketing Sdn. Bhd. (625443-U, AJL 931487)
No. 30-B, Jalan Pingai
Taman Pelangi
80400 Johor Bahru

So if any bastards from this company approaches you… set your dogs on them and let it eat the bastards’ balls. Believe me, you’re doing humanity a favour because scamming bastards like these people don’t deserve to breed.

Preying On Greed or Greedy Predator?

16 May 2006

I’ve noticed that there are a lot of posts on Consumer.com.my stating that many victims of Wijaya Marketing (and Welley Corporation and all its shadow scamming subsidiaries in general) fell victim to these scammers because of greed.

I categorically refuse to believe this simplistic view. The reason being, Wijaya Marketing is not operating a legitimate promotional activity or any form of legitimate business at all! They scam their victims into getting into a transaction that they otherwise would not make. 100% of Wijaya Marketing’s victims are merely following the basic human behaviour of making the most out of an opportunity.

Imagine, if you were convinced (more like conned when it comes to Wijaya Marketing and Welley Corporation) that you stand more than 90% chance of winning something valuable, it’d be foolish not to grab the opportunity.

The fact of the matter is, Wijaya Marketing and Welley Corporation are the greedy predators! They choose to deceive instead of operating a legitimate business. Do you think that they can even sell a single item from the cheap Chinese imports they have in their inventory using legitimate means? I think not.

They thrive on deceiving as many people as possible into entering an illegitimate transaction of buying their useless products. Welley Corporation reeks of deception once you find out more about the company:

  • They claim to operate a “factory” when all they have in fact is just a warehouse in Penang
  • They con not only their “customers” but also their employees
  • Often recruits teenagers of barely legal working age because they are easy to manipulate
  • There are reports that they allegedly use IC photocopies of their staff and/or potential candidates to form more scamming “subsidiaries” of Welley Corporation

And you still think that Wijaya Marketing and Welley Corporation victims are the greedy ones? If you do, you’re obviously in awe of the criminal mindset behind the operations of these scamming companies.

Wijaya Marketing/Welley Corporation Trying to Engage in SERP Poisoning

10 May 2006

It is obvious that scammers Wijaya Marketing Sdn Bhd and their parent company Welley Corporation (M) Sdn Bhd are starting to feel the heat of their negative exposure on the Internet. It’s no wonder, the top results are all about their scamming practices.

There are signs that they are attempting SERP poisoning (also often referred to as googlebombing). Basically, SERP poisoning is the process of flooding search engines with fake content attempting to displace a relevant web site or increase the ranking of an irrelevant web site.

Well, unfortunately for Wijaya Marketing and Welley Corporation, I’ve been in the SEO scene for years. There’s no way these scammers can outrank Wijaya Watch for searches on Wijaya Marketing and Welley Corporation. You might be expert scammers in Malaysia, but the Internet is my turf… there’s no way you will win!

I hope the bastards behind Wijaya Marketing and Welley Corporation burnt quite an amount of money on this stupid and unsuccessful attempt

Alan Tan Chiang Hwa: Chief Scamming Officer of Welley Corporation

22 Apr 2006

Searching around the Internet for information regarding scammers, Wijaya Marketing Sdn Bhd and its parent company Welley Corporation (M) Sdn Bhd, leads me to some very interesting pictures.

Introducing, Alan Tan Chiang Hwa, the Chief (Scam) Marketing Officer of Welley Corporation, and an ugly SOB at that:

Alan Tan Chiang Hwa; C(S)MO Welley Corporation / Wijaya Marketing

More information regarding this bastard is definitely welcomed on Wijaya Watch. Send your emails to wijayawatch@gmail.com

Email From Lashan

21 Apr 2006

Thanks go to Lashan for emailing me this information:

Hi,

I was conned by these thieves just last week. I have already made a complaint to the tribunal and intend to take the process all the way untill I get my money back, and even after that.

The info regarding their office in Puchong is as follows.

Wijaya Marketing Sdn Bhd ( 656933-W , AJL 931523 )
5B, Kalan Kenari 6, Bandar Puchong Jaya
47100 Puchong, Selangor
Tel or Fax : 03-58825772

The names of the two agents I was dealing with are;
Andy – 0172322881
Jeff – 0166377133

The idea of “Wijaya Watch” website is brilliant and thanks for putting the website up. The info available is definitely very helpful. Their business model is based on the assumption that only a small percentage of people conned would go through the trouble of lodging complaints etc, and that is why they are still operating. Having info such as this publicised would bring up the number of complaints which is what we want.

There are also several discussion on this going on at www.consumer.com.my, maybe you could include a link there as well (I will do this next time I post). Anyway let me know if there is anything I can do to help make sure these criminals are taken down for good.

Thanks and regards,
Lashan

Well Lashan, I’m thankful that you are contributing in Wijaya Watch. The information you’ve provided would definitely be useful for consumers, especially those near Puchong. I do notice a lot of threads regarding Wijaya Marketing in consumer.com.my, and have linked to the search results for posts containing Wijaya Marketing in Wijaya Watch’s sidebar.

The more people exposed to Wijaya Watch, the better. Consumers need to be aware of the frauds and scams conducted by Wijaya Marketing and Welley Corporation.

Made a Police Report Against Wijaya Marketing

19 Apr 2006

After getting advice from a family member who is in the legal profession, I made a police report earlier tonight at Johor Bahru Central Police Station. I was asked to write a statement using a computer terminal available in the police station. It was a straightforward and simple process.

I have ammended the Steps You Can Take page on Wijaya Watch to include this step. I encourage victims of Wijaya Marketing Sdn. Bhd. to do the same before going to the Consumer Claims tribunal.
