Credit Card Scam Attempt by Glotron Marketing

30 Nov 2006

I got the following email from Premnath:

On Nov 26, 2006 at 5pm , I happen to be one of the latest prey by this marketting company, if not for my sister who is alert on this kind of issue i might have fall into this trap as well.

Current address of this company ;

Glotron Marketing Sdn Bhd,
12-1, Lorong Tiara 1A,
Bandar Baru Klang.
Tel/Fax: 33438699.

Merchant ID: 1116696475

They visit your house in the pretext of doing some survey on shopping products, afterwhich they will ask you to pick a card to decide on what you’re about to get. I had to pay RM 6977 in order to qualify /be in the run fr a either a car, mattress or cash ..

The guy managed to persuade me to visit their office to verify if my credit card is has available funds to get further approval . Once they swipe my car in the pretext of checking if my card is able to swipe for RM 6970.00 , they would ask you to sign on the sales slip. They are so persistent & insisting me to do it , had a tough time getting out of that situation. Hope this be a great lesson to me , and to inform others out there do not fall into such scam ,this ppl are all out to make fast money and run away from us. I wonder why is it our government so ignorant or maybe its just their “tidak apa attitude” of our authorities. Middles class people are the most affected ones out of this.

“One man’s meat another man poison.”

It’s obvious that these Welley Corporation bastards are getting more and more dangerous! Swiping credit cards to “check for available balance”. The authorities and credit card issuing companies should be more proactive in dealing with such situations.

I tend to agree with Premnath, this “tidak apa attitude” (uncaring attitude) from the authorities and improper screening of merchants by Malaysian banks contribute to the current horrible state of affairs when it comes to these scamming companies like Welley Corporation (M) Sdn Bhd.

I’d like to suggest that scam victims unite and lodge a report to Visa International and MasterCard Worldwide against banks who fail to protect customers’ rights for credit card transactions.

More Proof That Welley Corporation Engages In Gangsterism and Intimidation

06 Sep 2006

Bloody criminals will ally with their kind. Welley Corporation (M) Sdn Bhd further confirms its affiliations with the undersirables of society as informed to me by Jason Foo:

I came across your site while I was searching for more info about ‘Glotron’ – apparently, they paid me a visit around an hour ago. And within that hour, something unpleasant has happened to me.

I’m staying in the Cyberia apartments (which is located in Cyberjaya, next to MMU). And well, they did the same trick as always – first that kid was making a survey (which I played along), then he asked me to tear off their coupons. I did and ‘won’ a 500k worth of something, but I tore it off in front of his face. Next I asked him to get off.

Then minutes later, I was about to go out to deal with some stuff, when I saw them still hanging around. Being quite unhappy with them, I told them to get off as soon as possible before I call in the security. Well, they took flight on the staircase, and I followed them just in case. While in the process, they called in their backup.

Then, while downstairs, their backup arrived – and started to trail me. So I went to the carpark and waited for them there. Then one of them in a dirty pink shirt confronted me, pulled off his belt (eww yuck gay) then THREATENED to beat me up if I don’t apologize. Well, my umbrella was behind me (brought it just in case), but I wasn’t in the mood to get into a fight. So, I followed suit, and they left me.

Well, I’ve brought this to the attention of the other residents in Cyberia as well (we have our own Y! groups), and next I will have to report this to the Security division of Cyberjaya. And I thought that you might be interested in what happened to me, so I’ve typed this post to you and hopefully this as well will aid all of us in the fight against Welley Corporation and it’s wrteched sub-company, Glotron Marketing.

“Nemo me impune lacessit” – May those who provoked me escape not from punishment.

Thank you for your time to read what I have to say.

Well, thank you Jason for your feedback. You might consider proposing to your community’s Y! group members to start a neighbourhood watch system, focusing on criminals, especially of the Welley Corporation type that uses a seemingly legit front. These people should be driven out of our society. At the very least, we should chase them out of our township.

Glotron Chased Out of Bandar Tasik Kesuma

05 Jul 2006

I got the following email from Liana Sari;

On Saturday 1 July 2006, about 3.15pm, a Chinese guy came to my house at Bandar Tasik Kesuma, Beranang Selangor, knocking my sliding door (at that time my gate was closed but unlocked). My husband attended him and he started his story about a survey and bla…bla…bla.

At that time I was taking a nap at the tv area and I heard he said my husband have just won RM1.5 million. Then he started to ask for information. I got up and told the Chinese guy to leave my house as I don’t like the way he entered my premises without asking for permission. He still continue and requested to borrow my husband’s mobile phone to make a call.

I told my husband to ignore this guy as I’ve heard from my sister about this company, previously called Wijaya Marketing. This Chinese guy was so stuborn and refused to leave and kept trying to convince me. I told him to stop the conversation and leave my house…if not I’ll call the Beranang Police Station. I repeated and shouted a few times before he finally leave my house. Before doing so, he said “You ingat you sorang saje kenal polis ke” (English translation: “Don’t think that only you know police officers”).

I immediately called Beranang Police Station and requested police officer to come to my area to get this guy out from our area. I got full cooperation from Balai Polis Beranang to assist me to save my neighbours from being cheated. Below are the details that I managed to get :-

Glotron Marketing (AJL 931580) (688425-X)
5B, Jalan Kenari 6, Bandar Puchong Jaya
47100 Puchong, Selangor

Agent name : Chin Kiat Yong
Vehicle: Black Toyota Unser (PFX 7081)

So, friends out there, be alert about this company…GLOTRON. If they come to your area, immediately call the police to get them out from your area.

Thanks Liana for the email. It’s very informative.

If you see any Welley Corp bastards in your area, inform the police ASAP and chase them out of your area like the scamming dogs that they are.

Email From Lashan

21 Apr 2006

Thanks go to Lashan for emailing me this information:

I was conned by these thieves just last week. I have already made a complaint to the tribunal and intend to take the process all the way untill I get my money back, and even after that.

The info regarding their office in Puchong is as follows.

Wijaya Marketing Sdn Bhd ( 656933-W , AJL 931523 )
5B, Kalan Kenari 6, Bandar Puchong Jaya
47100 Puchong, Selangor
Tel or Fax : 03-58825772

The names of the two agents I was dealing with are;
Andy – 0172322881
Jeff – 0166377133

The idea of “Wijaya Watch” website is brilliant and thanks for putting the website up. The info available is definitely very helpful. Their business model is based on the assumption that only a small percentage of people conned would go through the trouble of lodging complaints etc, and that is why they are still operating. Having info such as this publicised would bring up the number of complaints which is what we want.

There are also several discussion on this going on at, maybe you could include a link there as well (I will do this next time I post). Anyway let me know if there is anything I can do to help make sure these criminals are taken down for good.

Thanks and regards,

Well Lashan, I’m thankful that you are contributing in Wijaya Watch. The information you’ve provided would definitely be useful for consumers, especially those near Puchong. I do notice a lot of threads regarding Wijaya Marketing in, and have linked to the search results for posts containing Wijaya Marketing in Wijaya Watch’s sidebar.

The more people exposed to Wijaya Watch, the better. Consumers need to be aware of the frauds and scams conducted by Wijaya Marketing and Welley Corporation.
