Attempted scam in Kota Kemuning, at 3:15pm 21 September 2006. Under Glotron Marketing - AJL 931580, 688425-X. Address: 5B, Jalan Kenari 6, Bdr Puchong 47100 Puchong, Selangor. Using phone number 03-58825772.
A young boy by the name of Alvin Loh (Mobile No: 016-3837845) and his supervisor - a guy (Mobile No: 019-3536603).
The young boy Alvin was carrying a newspaper cutting in Mandarin, showed a list of ppl who won and names & pictures were on the newspaper. In the pretense of doing a survey to open up a hypermarket, he gave me 2 cards for a lucky draw. Then apparently, I won 3 prizes and was eligible to win the
bigger prizes including Toyota Altis, motorbikes and cash…Then explained that I’ll have to pay RM2997 as they don’t cover the tax. So I told the boy - no thanks! I’ve heard of this scam before and stop doing this.

I’m a victim on 26/11/06 , but I discover that upon sign for the credit card transaction I was sign wrongly. I have call bank and the answer is the transaction could not be claim if the authorized card holder name is not correct. If it’s true, should I immediate send back the item to them?
